Hey Joce ... I was wondering if you were going to be at Kim's signing in Cincinnati next month??? it happens to be on my birthday, so a friend (that I'm currently hooking on your books *grins*) and I are making plans to go down and snag a hotel room for the night so we don't have to rush for home like we did at last year's Dayton signing.

Unless I catch some horrible illness like the plague, I will be at Kim's Cincinnati signing. It's one of the rare times that I get to catch up with her. I would be great to see you and your friend!

VERY random question! What is your favorite type of wine to drink? (If you're wondering why I'm asking, my friend is throwing a small 'let's relax!' get together on saturday and I said I would bring a red wine. I know very little about wine, only that I like reds better than whites!)

Wow! Random. But I like random.
I haven't ever been much of a wine drinker. I have shifted more to white over red due to a couple bad headaches I think the red caused.
My favorite tends to be a Reisling and I love the Two Princes label. Chardonnay has been hit or miss with me, but the Pinots I've had were very good, though I couldn't tell you what the label was. Possibly Yellow Tail.

Very nice I have recently developed a fascination with wine, so I ask almost everyone what their fav wine is lol. Here's another random one for you. What color is your umbrella? (I think we've been getting everyone's rain over here- I honestly don't remember the last time it rained so much in CA!)

This one is boring. I have a plain old black umbrella. Though, I have to admit that I have no idea where it might be. My only guess would be somewhere in my car.

Lol, well mine is a solid old turquoise. And i have a gray coat that is waterproof that I sometimes wear.
Ok how about some more random questions....
Favorite comfort food?
I tend to make a lot of alfredo just because it is easy and a very go-to meal for me, but my favorite comfort food is a big bowl of beef stew with a thick slice of warm bread.

Mashed potatoes. For me, everything seems to get better with mashed potatoes.

oh heck yes. Mashed potatoes ftw! Although I did recently have a delicious twice baked potato that my friend's boyfriend made, and those were pretty tasty too!
Random Question of the Day: What is the 2nd sentence on the 31st page of the smallest book near you?
"That treasure has been hidden," he went on, "in the region through which you came last night, there can be but little doubt; for it was the ground fought over for centuries by the Wallachian, the Saxon, and the Turk." - Dracula, Bram Stoker.
