I've got a Goodreads account, but I haven't been very good about keeping up with it. I haven't worked it into my daily routine of checking blogs, twitter, facebook, myspace, and dark room. I'm beginning to wonder if I've got too many....
I'm glad that you're enjoying Night's Cold Kiss. Tracey and I have the same agent and editor. I've got it on my reading list, but it will probably be winter before I get to it.

I finished Night's Cold Kiss a few days ago. For a debut novel it really drags you in to the story. I am already about to die thinking of what is going to happen next. Also I think I am in love with Christian. He is so charmingly beautiful!! ohhh *grins* i think i'd like to meet that Christian here! I want to read it but i'm trying to finish reading Lover Unbound first =P See! Alicia i'm listening to your advice here, more BDB! =) ;D Ok that sounds great. BDB should always be first in line. Gosh I cant wait for Covet to come out. I'm wondering how much it is going to tie in with the BDB. Also after you read Lover Avenged it makes me wonder....well I dont want to ruin it.

Nop Alicia i've only read the first 4 books , and i must admit that if i'm reading book 5 right now it's mostly because i want to read Revhenge's story! and i just can't skip a book, it'd break my heart. I didn't know there would be a link between Covet and the BDB series! I wanted to order Covet on Book Depository but it's 'out of stock' so i can't pre-order it. Arghhh i hate it when they got the release date wrong, it screws the pre-orders :/

One of the reasons I love my e-reader, when I want a book, I want it RIGHT NOW. I just go to my handy dandy sony ereader store and get it right then and there. Buying books is such a high! woot!
What is the next BDB book? I read Rev's book (it was really good - my favorite will always be zadist!!). Doesn't Covet come out on September 29th?

Newfiewife the thing is that an E-book doesn't have the charm a book has. I love 'books' not only what's inside. It's about the smell and the texture too. Anyway i'm pretty sure i'll change my mind when i'll have no more room for the books i buy. And as you said you can have the book you want whenever you want it....again probably not a good idea for my bank account, buying online is already too easy lol
Yes Covet is coming out at the end of the month =) But i really didn't know who's story was next in the BDB! I love John Matthews *grins*

Pattepoilue - I know exactly what you mean about the smell and texture of reading a book. I actually was put off by the idea of a ereader at first, then a friend talked me into it and when I got it, it was fabulous. I can carry around with me 60+ books, so if I feel like going back to re-read a book I just have to find it in the ereader. Of course I'm not trying to talk you into buying one! I'm just sharing my expierence. I still do love books, and everytime I drive by a bookstore it calls to me. I bought a paperback a few months ago-it sang to me on the shelf! lol! I still have all my old books in boxes and on shelves in my room - i had planned on selling them, but I can't bring myself to get rid of them. They are like old friends. *sigh*

Yes, your own manuscript counts as reading material. I am currently reading parts of WAIT FOR DUSK as I type it.

does my own manuscript count as reading material??? I think so. So does beta-reading manuscripts for other people. (I've been a horribly neglectful reader. Tomorrow is my catch up day.) Um, on my plate at the moment, apart from the afore mentioned MS... I'm re-reading 'The Shakespeare Secret' so that I can try and write a good review for it. I've got the second 'zodiac' book that I started to read but I'm finding it quite heavy going, which was a problem I had with the first one, too. And, I just joined Book Hopper, so I'm waiting for a book through the post from that that I'm really looking forward to.

I've read through a couple more of the "Death" mysteries by JD Robb.
And I finally finally finally picked up my copy of Fire Study. FINALLY. This time, I flipped through the book to make sure that none of the pages were upside down and backwards like the previous copy. I think I'll wait to read it until after I finish the JD Robb mysteries, b/c those are library books that I need to return before I leave to go back to school and I never never never return unread books.

Are there rules against double posting? If there are, I apologize!
Finished Creation in Death today. Just have "strangers in death" and "salvation in death" which I will hopefully finish a.s.a.p. I would hate to return 2 unread books to the library!!

lol ... nope, don't think there is ...only real rule I've encountered with posting is that you have to wait 15 seconds between postings. don't ask how I found that one out.
