If Mira was changed human, she could have another vamp change her, but she'd be at the bottom of the vampire food chain again, making her extremely vulnerable. But what if she could escape as a human? Could she be happy with a life together with Danaus? A normal, quiet life? Would that be their chance at happily ever after? She would be significantly weaker if she was made human then turned again, because her first turning was so unique with more than one maker. It's an interesting idea though! One of those thoughts that makes your brain spin if you think about it for too long. I think Danaus would prefer her human, but at the same time she would not be the same person that he likes. He fell in love with Mira the vampire, and I don't know how different she would be as a human. And to dragondeathlord, I think she would kill him. We've already seen that Mira is willing to sacrifice herself if she believes it is absolutely necessary- I doubt she would tolerate being a Bori's pet unless there were people who needed her to stay alive. And knowing how against vampire's danaus already is....well, I don't think it'd work too well. It's a nice thought, that he would eventually get used to it, but I think he would fall asleep in the sun before he even got used to the idea.

If Danaus and Mira can work it out and keep their relationship working could you imagine the wedding?
The Groom's side with Ryan and Gaizka. James as best man. The Bride's side with Jabari, Knox, Amanda, and Valerio. Nick giving away the bride. A Family get together for the holidays would be a killer.
I wonder if Nick held back at the end of pray for dawn while they were dealing with Gaizka not just to wait for him to get weak but to avoid recognition and being outed by the Bori as something other than the witch he had pretended to be?
Now that Mira can feel the earth magic can she pull it in and use it practicing that shield spell she learned? How much will it shield her from and from whom?
Just the thoughts bouncing through my mind.

Luckiest timing for a vacation in the US ever, haha. Finally got to buy my Dark Days book in a bookstore. I can't even say which book is my favorite, but this one I think caught me most by surprise, from Mira's birthright to the ending... I literally kept checking how many pages were left on the book and thought "Well, looks like Tristan's gonna make it to another book..." And well, everyone knows how that hope died. Not to say I didn't love the ay everything was done, and I knew he wouldn't last forever, but still I hoped. I still don't know what to make of Nick... I think there's more to what he wants from Mira, but I'm at a loss for what that might be. Interesting twist that one, never saw it coming. I love the way Mira and Danaus' relationship has evolved from the first book, and finally Danaus let go of the resistance we saw in Pray for Dawn. All in all, loved it! If Mira has two territories, does that mean her favorite werewolf can relocate? hehe I really do wish they'd translate to portuguese (or should I say brazilian?) so I can get my friends hooked up on the series as well.

I love all the books in the series but this is my favorite. We got to see Mira really kick butt and her and Danaus got together - my favorite part. Love that we learned more of her background concerning her father Nick. There's so much to touch on but a lot was mentioned in the other posts. I hated Sofia! Ugh, glad she got what she deserved. And that other chick, Odelia. Stefan - at least he did find out what happened to his lady love. And Tristan. So sad! I love that Mira and Valerio has a past together. Too bad Danaus doesn't care for him. lol It was a very slow build up to her and Danaus getting together. At first, I'm like, no it needs to go faster, but I'm glad it was done like this. It was worth the wait. Very much so. I actually have places in the book marked that I like to re-read but now I'm thinking I might re-read the book again or maybe even the whole series. Oh, and the descriptions of Budapest - I want to go there now. Oh, and I loved the non-sexual intimate moments with Danaus and Mira. Like in the beginning after Nick beats her up and he's holding her in his arms. And he takes her to the bedroom Lily slept in. Also, when they are on the plane, and he wipes her face clean. So incredibly sweet!
