I haven't read any book from Maria V. Snyder but the cover from Sea Glass is catching my eyes, i know i'm THAT shallow. I'll have to check out this series Start with "Poison Study." She's written two series, and Sea Glass is part of the second series. The characters overlap, but both series have different main characters. In order: Poison Study Magic Study Fire Study Storm Glass Sea Glass And yeah, the covers are GORGEOUS lol. My collection of the Study series is a bit mixed; the bookstores only had the first two in the YA covers, and the last one doesn't have a YA cover yet so it's mixed up lol. ETA: My goal is to get AS MANY people as possible to read the Study series and Glass series by Maria V. Snyder. I just love them that much! NEXT on my plate is "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte (with the two dots over the 'e'). I read this a loooong time ago, like when I was 12 ish, for a book report and I remember hating it because it was kinda confusing. But I'm sure it was because I was so young. I've started it today, and so far I'm enjoying it! It's keeping my mind off of my impatience waiting for this weekend so I can go get a certain book that's coming out next tues

I just finished Doubleblind and ...eh, well, it wasn't as good as I hoped. It had a ton of Vel - whom I LOVE, but it was sort of...dissapointing. Is it wrong I wan't more Vel and less Jax? heh
Then I read Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione - and now I'm reading Desire Unchained the second book in the Demonica series, then I'll read the third one.
Oh, and I LOVE loved Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte - one of my favorites - along with Pride and Prejudice. Wuthering Heights comes in third. Awesome.

Jane Eyre is pretty awesome. I have never read Wuthering Heights, but it is definitely on my list of books to read. i'm not really big on the classics and such, the language sometimes makes me so impatient lol.

What should I read? I need more werewolf/were-other-creature stories. I've read Keri Arthur's Riley novels, the first two books by Kelley Armstrong, and I'm working my way through Rachel Vincent's stuff when I find the books. Can people recomend other good were books?

Werewolf? Hmm, there's the Psy -Changelings Series by Nalini Singh - there's six or seven books out - very good stuff. Third book is my favorite.
I'm not superbig into werewolves. That's all I can think of.

The Kitty books by Carrie Vaughn ... first one is Kitty and the Midnight Hour ... werewolf dj ... I think there's 6 books out in that series. also the Mercy books by *draws a complete blank* ...wth brain ... *goes to shelf to look* Patricia Briggs ... first one is Moon Called. I wanna say there are 3 in that series and then a few others that branch off. also, Broken and Frostbitten by Kelley Armstrong are from Elena's pov, so more werewolfy goodness there. Have you read Blood & Chocolate? they made a movie based on it a few years ago and totally screwed the book up, but on it's own, the movie was okay, if you ignored the fact that it was supposed to be based on a book. and the book is amazing. and Soulless said it had werewolves in it, but I haven't read it yet ... it's vampires, werewolves and steampunk. Linkage for you to go check it out... looked interesting enough for me to buy it, and I don't buy much anymore in the way of books. and that about taps me out. I stick more to my vampires *shrugs*. ask me for a good rec for those and we'll be here for a few days.
