cem, I'm one of those people who've been driven to insanity waiting for the next fever book... same goes for a few other authors.... It's hell on the nerves to start a series with book one or two and discover that the wait for the next installment is long on the other hand, I have to say that it makes me appreciate the books even more

Yes I agree! While sometimes it's nice to be able to read series books back to back, the wait makes them all the more satisfying (when they live up to expectations!!) so while it was nice to not wait between the first 4, I am actually glad that I read them a little while before Shadowfever's release. Can't wait for it though! lol

I recently read the first two books in the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter. it's YA, and it follows a girl who attends a private, all-girls' spy school. Really fun read!

Just finished reading L.A.Banks Crimson Moon series, loved it. BIG fan of Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress' books, rereads. Can't wait to read Last Sacrifice, but am currently reading "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. Apparently its being adapted into a movie and there's going to be a book 2. Also, besides JD's waiting for Kim Harrison's, Jeaninene Frost, Karen Chance, Gena Showalter's new books to come out. Waiting sucks, LOL

work is finally calming down, so I've been doing a bit of reading here and there. Reading Innocent Mage by Karen Miller and loving it. Just need time to sit back down and finish it. Also have a book of Irish myth, legend and lore sitting on my desk. Recently read Red Riding Hood that they're doing a movie for, releasing in March. The movie looks amazing and I can't wait for it, but the book was a huge letdown. I'm still definitely seeing the movie, but now with hopes that they fixed some of the random POV changes, or that they're omitted in the movie. Book has a good plot though .... just ... bad writing from a technical point.
also been gaming like crazy on my PS3 and PSP.

I'm currently reading One Hundred Candles by Mara Purnhagen, a YA paranormal, second in the Past Midnight series. Liked the first one, and just a couple chapters in to this one and really liking it as well. It's not very long so I'll probably finish it tomorrow.

I just finished Zen and the Art of Vampires by Katie Macallister (I think -- forgive my crappy memory). I liked the book but.... I didn't know it was a series when I picked it up. I've read her other Moravian books and all were singles with HEA so that's what I was expecting. Was just a little put off when I discovered at the last page that it was a series and didn't exactly have the HEA that I was expecting. Of course, this weekend I now have to track down the next book, damn it.

Hopefully it wasn't one in the middle. Hate that! I like hardcovers if I can get them. I read the first two Rachel Morgan/ Kim Harrison, loved them and searched ebay and stuff to get all the HB. Third book was the last one I found. Talk about painful wait!. Husband thought I was crazy!

I just read Pale Demon, which is Kim Harrison's latest in her Hollows series.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was FANTASTIC. If you go out and buy this, make sure you have a LOT of time to read because you are not going to want to put it down for anything.

Just finished Pamela Palmer's Hunger Untamed. I love this series and am going to have a hard time waiting until the end of November for the next book!
