Besides all the others mentioned here, I also like the series by Larissa Ione. If you like J R Ward or Kresley Cole, you'll probably like her too... they are similar in that each book is the same "world" but a different character's story.

I'm adding in "The Maker's Song" series by Adrian Phoenix, "Chicagoland Vampire" Series by Chloe Neill and also "The Parasol Protectorate" Series by Gail Carriger. Amazing series!

I keep hearing great things about the Kate Daniels series. I'll have to add it to my massive reading list. Besides, Ilona Andrews is amazingly funny and very sweet with the coolest accent.

Yes!! Kate Daniel's series are amazing!! Ilona's setting for Kate's world is a whole new experience for me and I love it so much.

Oh gosh, I love the heroine Kate and Curran, the beast lord. Their interaction has so much explosive potential, and the world that she has created is pretty intricate too.

Yep! Makes for a really great series. The first book was a bit slow going and confusing at times, but I couldn't put Magic Burns down and Magic Strikes? Totally blew me away. Magic Bleeds is joint first for book I most want this year, alonside Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead.
