I haven't watched the Olympics either. I'm not a fan...at all. It really just bore me to death. I guess you could say i'm not a sports person lol

I like the short track speed skating just for Apollo (he's so yummy) and the figure skating is always so cool to watch. beyond that, I don't watch much. I'm more into the gymnastics in the summer. but the satellite in the living room isn't working, so I haven't gotten to watch anything for the last few months.

I now, finally, have a DVR. (Insert small celebratory shout) The only thing that I have been recording is the Big Bang Theory. Are there any must-watch shows that I should be watching?
Does anyone know when the new season of House starts? When is it on? I am behind by one season but I plan to netflix that problem.
Does anyone know if Numb3rs is still on the air? I loved that show and haven't caught it in ages.
Help a girl out with a little good TV!

Jocelynn, if I'm reading the fall line-up correctly, first new episode for new season of House will air on Sept. 20. I don't watch Numb3rs, sorry.
I love Greys Anatomy and Private Practice. Vampire Diaries is pretty good (helps that Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are HOTT!). It's loosely based on LJ Smith's series.

Sorry, Jocelynn, but Numbers ended last season. I loved the show, but it seemed to be a mutually beneficial ending. The network was probably not going to renew, so the cast and writers had a chance to wrap up the characters.
I LOVE The Big Bang Theory. Be careful, they are moving to Thursdays in the fall. The other shows that I never miss are Dexter, NCIS and Criminal Minds. And, of course, Supernatural.

Holy crap--tonight was season 2 premier of Vampire Diaries. Gonna be an awesome season. Fantastic premier tonight. Also, Nikita premiered on CW right after Vamp D. It's obviously based on La Femme Nikita. It looks to be pretty spectacular. Def one to start watching . Thursdays will just have to be my tv night (cause Grey's and Private Practice) comes on in 2 weeks as well.

So I have finally been introduced to the greatness that is DVR. My weekly DVR schedule includes all new episodes of Ghost Hunters. I am now 4 weeks behind, but I usually plop on the couch and watch three and four at a time to catch up. I also record a lot of Family Guy for random watching later. We all need a little mindless TV.
So what's on your DVR schedule or what would be on your schedule if you had a DVR?

I'm excited. I've finally settled into watching some regular TV... sort of. I now understand the bliss that is DVR. I have my DVR scheduled to tape the Borgias and The Killing along with Ghost Hunters.
Ghost Hunters has gotten a little dry and boring with me, so it usually takes a few days for me to get around to watching the new episode.
I love Jeremy Irons in The Borgias. I love the whole historical period and all the intrigue. So awesome.
I love the intensity of The Killing, but it is very much a downer to watch.

I've been watching House, Castle, and Off the Map .... and that's about it as I don't have TV in the new place. So I just catch the episodes on the stations' websites when they go up, though I'm a couple weeks behind now. ooops.

A return look at TV watching. I am going for lighter fare at the moment.
I am still watching Ghost Hunters. I loved the season of Borgias and I'm praying that it returns. I never finished The Killing season. I really did enjoy the show, but toward the middle I noticed that it was taking me longer and longer to watch it on my DVR. I think the show just got too depressing. There seemed to be no lighter moments to release some of the weight and tension. It just became to hard to jump back into the show each week.
So, at the moment, I am addicted to Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park. Not the most thought-provoking, but it lets my brain relax after a day of writing. I still need to get in a schedule for Big Bang Theory. I think I am also going to buy the first few seasons of True Blood so I can see what everyone is going to crazy about.
What are you watching? And what should I be watching?

Been watching Once Upon a Time (LOVE!!) and Grimm (which is kinda dry and blah for me). And of course I'm still watching Castle and NCIS.
Recently I've been watching Doctor Who. It's something a LOT of my friends watch, and they've been pestering me for years to watch this show so I've started. I'm enjoying it- I'm not addicted to it, but it's definitely a fun show. It's been about a month and a bit since I last saw it and I'm somewhere in the middle of season 3.
I'm also re-watching the entire Buffy series. Am currently in the middle of season 2.
And finally....still watching Ghost Hunters. This may be my favorite episode ever, only because I laughed so hard I was crying. I don't want to spoil the awesome for anyone who hasn't seen it, but it was the one where they went to the distillery.

Okay, so I know I'm late to the party, but I've recently discovered the BBC "Sherlock" TV series. I am in love, which is saying a lot for me. I grew up on Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes and I never thought anyone else could do him properly. Robert Downey Jr. is also awesome, and now Benedict Cumberbatch is awesome as well. But why the heck are there only 6 episodes?!?! I have only seen the first three and I'm trying to track down the other three. There should be more of these episodes! They're awesome!
Also, I'm still loving Once Upon a Time. The Evil Queen/Regina needs to go down!!!
