TONIGHT IS THE SEASON FINALLY FOR TRUE BLOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also, I have it on good authority that Ms. Harris herself has a quick cameo in a scene in Sam's bar.

OH, I know!! It had better be good too!! Mary Ann started to get annoying about 5 episodes ago. More naked Eric - that's all I'm saying!

Oh yes i loved watching Everybody Loved Raymond when i was younger =) Too bad it's never been very popular in France.
Yay last episode of True Blood! I'm both excited to see it and sad it's already the end of the season. I didn't know about Charlaine Harris' cameo i'll keep an eye open to see her!

The last BBC adaption of Persuasion SUCKED, but Sense and Sensibility was really really good - hopefully Emma will be good too. The last adaptation of Emma I enjoyed was the one w/ Mark Strong and Kate Beckinsale.

I have to agree that the last Persuasion adaptation wasn't perfect but i've seen worse lol. But the 1995 version is still my favorite =)

I have no idea what Glee is - must be a highschool show? *shudder*
Destination Truth people - watch it! I love it but it's not shown up here so I have to download it. So funny - Love Josh Gates!
Most dissapointing show of the season- Vampire Diaries - worst.show.ever. I'm not sure if it's the fact that the kids are so....uninteresting, or maybe it's the fact that they all look much older than 18 - or maybe it's just really bad show. Watched the first epi - barely, could NOT get through the second episode. I am 33 though - teen shows bore me.
Fastforward? Dollhouse? Fringe? Anyone?

Glee is a brand new television show about some high school students and their teacher who are trying to revive the Glee club, despite the odds that are stacked against them. It is a musical television show, and you just need to see one episode to be hooked! Because of time constraints i haven't actually gotten a chance to see more that the first two episodes but I am going to try and catch up next weekend. Or the weekend after that. I might have to wait until after NaNoWriMo.
Three Rivers is a brand new medical show of some sorts. Haven't watched it- to be honest, the medical dramas don't really catch my attention.
And I'm not sure how to explain Burn Notice. Not one of my favorites.
Newfiewife, I read the first Vampire Diaries book and I was incredibly disappointed, so I have not watched the TV show. I'm guessing my opinion of it will reflect my opinion of the book.

Burn Notice is about a spy that someone outed him, so he couldn't really do spy work anymore, and he's left stranded in flordia and he's working to find out who outed him ... at least that was the first season ... haven't been watching much tv lately... too much work

When you all send in your stories, where do they get published and do you get a monetary amount for submitting them? I love that you all are capable of writing, it's a skill I have NEVER mastered. Just thinking of back at my creative writing class in highschool makes me cring. Lowest score in the class: me!! *SIGH*

Well NaNoWriMo isn't actually for publishing. It's a self-motivated writing challenge- you sign up on the website and you write like a maniac during November, updating your word count as you go. To update your word count, you can either do it manually or upload your work and have the counter do it for you- for the 50,000 words to officially count so you can be a 'winner' you need to upload it. There are ways you can scramble a copy of your story for upload so the content isn't readable. I personally LOVED the Halloween episode of NCIS from last week. WIN! You can watch it on CBS if you are curious.

They have just started True Blood on british TV. We get episode 4 tonight. It's always cool to see books I like turned into films, or in this case, a series! I quite like that we're getting to see some things in more detail here than in the books, like things that are mentioned but happen to other people, so Sookie doesn't really experience them in the books.
