I know you have no controll over what the publisher chooses to make into audio versions. PLEASE don't think the scathing indictment that follows is in any way targeted at you. I'm kinda hoping you'll forward this to the people who do make those decisions. I've seen plenty of other threads asking about this, and I imagine you're sick of it, but here goes. I drive a lot and I listen to a lot of audio books. I finished listening to the first novel in your "Dark Days" series, and I enjoyed it immensely. Naturally when my Audible credits rolled around the next time, I immediately looked for book number two.
What did I find? Well I had obviously already found book one. In addition to book one they had book three, book 4 and book 5. They did not have book 2. What kind of sadistic bastard does that? If there is a logical explanation for this I'd love to hear it. Until then I'm sticking with my sadistic bastard theory.
To reiterate. Big fan. I don't think you're a sadistic bastard. Please forward this to the sadistic bastards. Unless of course that would hurt your career. That would be a bummer.

I'm sorry for your frustration and I can totally understand and commiserate. You're right in that I don't have any control over what books will be turned into audio books or when. The happy news is that ALL the books are being turned into audio books. Books 3 and 4 were recently rolled out. Book 2 and 6 are still on the way. I have no idea why they issued the ones they did, in the order they did. I stopped long ago trying to understand the publishing industry.
Again, I am sorry and I hope you give the rest of the series a try when it is finally released.

I take back everything I said and/or implied about your publishers. In fact, I hear they donate massive amounts of money to charity, help little old ladies cross the street, and spend ALL their free time in soup kitchens. I was very pleased to see "Dayhunter" on Audible today.

lol. Is it? I didn't know. Great. Well, after your long wait, now I'm terrified of the book not living up to your expectations. Fingers crossed.
