So the first question is: do you have ink?
Yes, I personally have four tatoos, one on my leg and three on my back. I received my first tatoo about two years ago and it was a cracked hourglass on my lower back. After getting over the initial fear of the needle, I knew almost instantly that I would be getting more tattoos. For me, the process (while slightly painful) is actually very relaxing. There something of a mental and emotional release I feel when getting a tattoo. (Though the healing process is something of a nuisance) I also adore the person that I've had do all my work. He's talented and very funny.
If you don't have a tattoo, is there a specific reason why? Fear of pain and needles? There are some people that it is against their religious belief to change the skin in such a way and I respect that belief. Thoughts?

no tattoos yet, but I do want one. my main reason for not getting one yet is a combination of not enough money, no recommendations on a good artist, and that some of the inks can have metal in them, which I'm allergic to, so I'd have to do a fair bit of research if I did get a recommendation. I think the biggest thing holding me back is the money thing.
but if I had the money, I know what I'd want. I've found some celtic knot work that I love and it would make a great background for a compass. so, I'd want a compass set on the knot work, but with the north point in some direction other than up. basically, it'd be on a tilt. or not have a north on it. sort of showing how lost I always feel.
