I just preordered Burn the Night from Amazon and it's listed as Burn the Night: The Final Dark Days Novel. Is this true? Geez, I hope not. I love the series.

I hope it won't be the last either but that's what it looks like. *sigh*

Burn the Night is the last book in the series, tying up all the loose ends. I am currently working on a short novella as well, but that will be the end of the Mira and Danaus tales as far as I know at the moment.
Thanks so much for your support. I've loved writing the series, but it's time to bring it all to a close and move on to another exciting series.

My first thought was Oh MY GOD NO! Than me being me I started to plot in my head. Well Dark Days series was all leading up to what happens in the last book. Couldn't a new series start at this ones end. What happens after the events in the last book. It is a new start for many.
I am so glad we will have a little more closure on the series. It's funny I now know how my mom felt about Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Joycelynn,
I just finished Burn the Night and really enjoyed it. I'm even more sad to see the series end now than I was before. The characters are fantastic and it seems there are so many possibilities to continue on indefinitely. Maybe you or the publisher will reconsider, but in the meantime, keep the short stories coming.
I loved the way you alternated between Mira and Nyx telling their stories. I found myself really coming to like Nyx and it was good to see Shelly again, too.
Thanks for the series. I'm glad I read it and have the books to reread again sometime. I will definitely read your new series also. I like your style.
All the best, Rainow

Rainow,
Thanks! I loved writing the series and playing with these characters. I don't know what the future will hold. There's room to play with some of the other characters, but for now it will have to wait because my full attention is on a new series, which has been a lot of fun to work on.
Thanks Jocelynn
