HILARIOUS!
I hate the dreams where I fall off buildings or whatever, and then jerk awake. So annoying...your dreams are much more entertaining.

I want to hear about everyone elses dreams, especially the awesome ones because the only dreams that I remember are the weird ones or the really scary ones. For instance, I distinctly remember in seventh grade having a dream about a classmate of mine coming after me with a knife trying to kill me.
I wonder what Rachel dreams about. Scratch that, I wonder what JENKS dreams about. Or Al. Lol.

mayhaps we should start a thread for dreams in the general thread or something? but it would be neat ... we could try to interpret each other's dreams too?

nope .... not the only one ... Kim just gets you so involved emotionally that you can't help but react.

I had to keep pouring the puddles of tears out of my glasses as I read that chapter. It was a very hard thing to read.

I don't mind. These are a lot of authors that I read as well and I like for the conversation about books to be open and polite.

Most authors that I've participated on forums with actually encourage polite discussion of other author's books. as long as it stays polite and no bashing starts up. for one, as Joce said, it's usually in the same vein as what she's reading when she has time, but also, from a market standpoint, it gets people to go out and try new authors, buy more books, and if a publisher sees that there is a market for this type of book, or that type of book, they might be willing to give a chance to a new author with that type of book and then we have more stuff to read. *shrugs* at least that's the way I see it.

Amen to having more to read! Honestly, I am a junkie. I have never participated in a forum before. I probably would not have here either except I was shocked that the publisher is not going to continue the series. I know I am going off topic but it is really hard these days to find something that is just a really good story.... So, bascially if it helps bring in new and up coming authors! Let us chat away!

I might be the only freak out there, but I'm frustrated that I have to wait till at least August to get the paperback of "Pale Demon". I'm one of those people that has to have continuity with my book covers. As all my Kim Harrison books are in UK Paperback (found out last night its available in Aug), my wait is that much longer. Damn Damn Damn. I'm going to have to avoid her site till then to stop any more spoilers, the sneak peaks have been exciting and frustrating I can't tell you. Woh is me, LOL.

You could buy it on release day, get your fix and then quickly sell it back to someplace like Half price books. Then get your UK pb in August. I have many doubles in pb's of my books, those are the ones I lend out, not the sacred hardbacks.

I'm VERY tempted to do that!! I wonder if it will be available on ebook or something around the same time as release or sooner than pb??? I don't have much space on my bookshelves at the moment and it would be typical of me to love the Hardcover, not be able to part with it and decide to get the whole series so it wouldn't feel lonely. Hehe. I think there's something wrong with me. LOL
