Yes, I am happy to report that Nightwalker has finally been released in Germany. I have to admit that I'm dying to know what the reader response has been. The overall response to the book so far has been positive, but I'm always curious to see how the book is received by other cultures. Do other people view Mira as too cocky and sarcastic, or is she appealing to readers? Is the world that I've created diverse enough or is it too narrow? Just random thoughts. I love hearing responses to the book from readers inside and outside the U.S.

I'm curious as to how an author gets their work published in other countries? Does your current publisher have it translated and published or does a publisher in Germany/where ever buy it?

I believe the publisher here holds the rights, though sometimes the author does, and it's a foreign publisher that buys the rights to translate and publish there ... be it because they approached the publisher here or because the home publisher approached them. though, I guess sometimes, publishing houses have branches in other countries too and can put books out that way.
feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
