so, figured this would encompass all new amazing movies coming out and we won't have to keep making new threads for each one.
and on that note:
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
The last movie that Heath Ledger was really in ... he died in the middle of filming so they got Johnny Depp, Colin Farrel, and Jude Law to step in do some of the acting. And they did it really seamlessly, as far as you can tell from the trailer ... at the very least, it's difficult to tell Heath and Johnny apart.

US was the last to pick it up for distribution, so we get the latest release date. I'd read an article about it a couple weeks ago and then the USA hadn't even picked it up at all.

Oh yes Alice in Wonderland is on my list of movies not to be missed!
On another note, i've just seen the trailer for The Time Traveler's wife... i've always wondered about the book when i saw it on amazon, but never knew what it was about. Now i'm watching the trailer for the movie and i'm interested but it sounds kindda sad and depressing.Have you read the book?
edit: yeah ust realized it's already out in the US but only in November in France.

I have NOT read the book yet, but it looks amazing, like crazy heartwarming love story. triumph of love over time and space and all that. the movie looks pretty good too. I haven't seen it yet either, but contemplating going, if I can find someone else that wants to go with.

lol 'if i can find someone else that wants to go with' ...that's my biggest problem too when i want to see a movie.
I'm really thinking about reading this book, because yeah it sounds like a touching love story, but it'd better have a happy ending or ...*shaking fist in the air*

I have read some spoilers and I'm not entirely sure I'd classify it as a happy ending or not. *says nothing else*

I was watching trailer for upcoming movies and i found this: Legion... I am strangely attracted to this trailer, maybe that's because of the angel part! I'll probably watch this movie.
