Both are manipulative, single-minded, and driven. The question I've got is who is the bigger villain? Or is neither a true villain?

I don't think i know enough about Rowe to decide. He seemed the actual villian in the first book. I'm curious if there's more to him in the next two books for me to change sides. I've been known to root for the wrong side a time or two. Villians need love too. lol

Rowe is one of my favorite characters. Maybe because he reminds me of a pirate. There will be more of Rowe in the next 2 books.

I think it depends on your viewpoint. If you believe that humans, vampires, and whatnot are the source of the destruction of Earth then Mira and company would be the true villians if Rowe and company is trying to restore the Earth to it's former glory before the filthy humans took over.
If you look at it through the eyes of preserving humanity then Rowe is the ultimate villian.
By my personal definitions they would both be villians. However, it's a choice between the lesser of two evils and I will side with Mira. Viva la comida (food)...I mean people.

Concepts of people, and er, creatures can change. Rowe has something hidden within himself, thats obvious. The only time Im confused of his evillness is when he states, "We can be more than this." Of course he was talking about Mira turning into a naturi, but something about that gets under my nails. I alserady know he has alot o information that I don't know if I am ready to read yet. Lol. And Mira is the good one. No doubt in my mind. She knows her faults, but knows that she isnt a killing zombie, and she does what she has to of in order to survive. The only thing that makes me angry, is her lack of trustin Danaus, whch to me, should had earned her trust.

I don't think either on is a villain. Might be blurring lines into the 2nd novel but didn't see Mira as manipulative. Cares for her two angles. Don't see her as being evil. Rowe is just doing what Naturi do. Why should either be condemned for their nature?

the thing with me is there is alot of gray area between good and evil and i think they are both in the gray area not on either side on the whole.
both sides go with the situations in which they have lived whether it be in exile or tryin to bring things forwards or bringing thier race back to power.....both live on different paths but both believe their path is correct and neither is actually correct and neither is actually wrong therefore i have to say not good or evil for either.

Still, there is something about him, kind of cocky too, that I just love and can't wait to find out more about him.

Simple as that. ;D The Naturi want both humans and nightwalkers dead, so I say they are more so a threat. But they are pretty cool, the Naturi. I am waiting to come across one that is a master fighter, like Jabari, an ancient of bad ass fighting skills

I am not sure about Rowe. Disliked him until the incident where he could have killed Mira and he didn't. Now I am very curious about him and would like to know more. Why didn't he kill her? I am sure there is a story there and I am dying to read it!
