I've got to know, what's your favorite vampire movies?
I need to think about this some more, but my gut instinct is a tie between Underworld and Bram Stoker's Dracula.
I reserve the right to change my answer at a later date if someone comes up with a better answer.

Fright Night? JUUUUUUUST KIDDING. Although when I was a kid I watched it like 10 times.
Underworld and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. I would say Bram Stokers Dracula - but I HATED Keanu Reeves...so I'll go w/ Interview with a Vampire. I think Twilight could have been better.

I've only seen Interview with a Vampire and A Vampire in Brooklyn. I think IwaV wins this contest.

Underworld series for sheer plot twisty Blade series for sheer violence/kick ass fight scenes (also made you want to laugh) Interview w/a Vampire for .... um, it's Interview ... does it really need a reason?

You know I completely had a mind fart about seeing all the Blade movies.

Blade movies were *alright* I guess. I guess I like my vampire movies more...hmm, darker, deeper, creepier...not kickass or bloody. If that makes sense.
I wish they'd make more mainstream VAMP movies instead of the made for DVD crap.

Yeah, most vamp movies are okay, but I'd like to see a few closer to how some of the vampires are showing up in most urban fantasy novels. So many in movies are showing up flat, one-dimensional creatures and I like a little depth to my nightwalkers.

"Near Dark" is my favorite vampire movie. I also liked "Lost Boys" though.

Ooh, Lost Boys was an awesome vamp movie.
There's a foreign movie Let the Right One In - I understand that is a really good movie. They are apparently making a US Version as well.

I've been hearing about Let the Right One in, too. Has anyone seen it? I've heard many good things.

Queen of the Damned was pretty decent for a vampire film. Of course, it held nothing to the book.
Blood Ties was pretty damn good, though it was a series and not a film >.>' It was based from Tanya Huff's BLOOD series.

I did see Let the Right One In ... wasn't really paying attention cause it was just background noise while I was writing, but what I did pay attention to was really interesting and totally cute.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone describe a vampire movie as "cute". I've got to check this out now!

well, when you have a couple kids running around, yea, it's pretty cute. I need to watch it again cause it's been a while and like I said, I wasn't really paying much attention.

I've seen hardly any vampire movies. I love the Underworld ones, although I haven't seen the new one yet. I saw 'Lost Boys' for the first time a couple of weeks ago, at a Rachel Caine event in London, and it just had me in hysterics. I loved it.
