I'm not excited about the new Harry Potter movie. The last one was just so silly, IMO. To me it felt as if they ignored the deeper meanings and plot developments and only took the fluffier and teenage-romance parts of the book and turned it into a movie. I sat in the cinema and thought: WTH??? So, I guess I won't see the new HP. I can always senda friend of mine as 'test-viewer'. If she doesn't like the movie, I won'T see it either, cause we usually agree when it comes to book-based movies Just out of curiosity, have you read the books? The book was kinda the same way. The big big things to take from it, IMHO, were Dumbledore telling Harry what he'd (D) been looking for and how to defeat Voldemort. I do agree this is not my fave of the series. I'm super pumped for Deathly Hallows, though, depending on where they split this, am wondering what they will add in re: action for the first one. Anywho, I just wouldn't discount seeing it just based on Half Blood Prince...a lot of viewers have your sentiments, cheese , but just based on trailers I've seen, DH will rock!
