I saw Inception last night.
Oh. My. Gosh.
It was so freaking awesome! This has seriously just become my new favorite movie!
Who else has seen it? I don't want to talk spoilers too much unless there are others who have seen this movie, but I am definitely purchasing it on DVD when it is out of theatres!

You're killing me. I'm dying to see it, but my earliest chance won't be for about two weeks. Ugh.
For summer, I am still looking forward to The Expendables.

Hmm, it's not a summer in movie...more like fall? I think it comes out in sept or oct? Let Me In which is a remake of the swedish movie Let the Right One In www.imdb.com/title/tt1228987/If you look at the trailer it looks like it's going to be identical to the original.

I'm dying right now. Honestly. Both Scott Pilgrim vs the World and The Expendables came out this weekend and I don't have time to go see either. Eat Pray and Love also looks fabulous. Please, go forth and see these movies for me. Tell me, are they wonderful? Or should I save my money?

I will probably rent most of these (Inception, Expendables, etc). I very likely won't go to the theater til Nov. 18 for Harry Potter.

My 16 year old is going to see The Expendables today at 6 p.m. My 17 & 16 year old both saw Inception already and said it was "The best movie EVER." LOL I'm not sure why they get to see all the cool movies before I do. I'm thinking "mom is a sucker" might cover it. BAHAHAHA

Ok.. watched "The Expendables".. indeed.. lots of blowing up.. lots of body parts. Story plot is weak.. mostly, you get to see Stallone and Jason. A bit of Jet Li.. the rest will be just cameo.
Watched Step Up 3D. Loved the dancing!

hehe, I recently saw the expendables, too.... and I think it was a hoot. To me it seemed to be ... well, kind of a comedic approach to the action genre. mostly funny. I kind of expected a 'Body Count' to appear on the right bottom of the screen. hehe.

Ha ha cheese! I may watch it on DVD via netflix once it's released. Gonna try to see Easy A soon. Friend and I were supposed to take her daughter, but her youngest didn't end up going to her father's (he had strep throat) for the weekend, and since she's only 7y, can't stay home alone and movie isn't appropriate for her. Oh well, still can't wait to see it. Oh, and 2 months to Harry Potter!!

I'm not excited about the new Harry Potter movie. The last one was just so silly, IMO. To me it felt as if they ignored the deeper meanings and plot developments and only took the fluffier and teenage-romance parts of the book and turned it into a movie. I sat in the cinema and thought: WTH??? So, I guess I won't see the new HP. I can always senda friend of mine as 'test-viewer'. If she doesn't like the movie, I won'T see it either, cause we usually agree when it comes to book-based movies

I had a friend who got into a screening of Deathly Hallows Part I a couple of weeks ago, and he said they've done excellent with the movie. (His report is here www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/2010/8/22/full-deathly-hallows-test-screening-report-pottercast-preview-online, but it's got spoilers) Honestly, Half Blood Prince is probably my least favorite book of the series. It was just too slow for me. I didn't dislike it- it just isn't the best of the series in my opinion. I also JUST saw The Prestige, which is also by Christopher Nolan (the same guy who did Inception) and I really enjoyed it, but parts were confusing. It was a fabulous concept though, and really leaves you thinking about a few things.
