Book 4 is due to my editor at the start of May and I've got a good chunk of it done. But for me, the hard part is always the title.
I will admit that I'm not the one that came up with the titles for my first 3 books. Nope, my editor is truly the brilliant one there.
However, this time I would like to submit a title or two to my editor that will knock her socks off. I've got one idea, but I can't tell you because it might give something away....
I was wondering if you had any title suggestions for book 4.
The first three are: Nightwalker, Dayhunter, and Dawnbreaker. As you can see, there's a pattern. If you can come up with something that adheres to the pattern, fantastic. But I will take other cool suggestions as well.
Thanks!

All title suggestions are good ones. They help to spark more ideas.
Besides, when I create the file I just name the book after one of my main characters.
When I first started writing Nightwalker, it was originally called Danaus. Yeah, I know, real original.

One that I'm starting to consider is "The Dark Son," so the door is wide open for titles.

you know Joce ... coming up with a title works much better when we know what the book is about ... maybe an excerpt *grins* I know you can't really, but one can hope.

Earthshaker. It rhymes in my head. If you are going for dusk: Duskstalker (maybe too close to Darkstalker games lol).
Random:
Lightgiver, Startaker, Darksoldier

Excerpt for book 4?!?! Now that's a funny one!
I wish I could tell you something about book 4. I'm going in a somewhat new direction as the story arc has shifted with the start of book 4. I'm dying to tell someone.... well, someone other than my editor.... about the book.
But, I'll just have to keep my mouth shut for a little while longer.

Duskwatcher?
Duskstalker?
Stick with the theme though. I wouldn't break form unless nothing really fits for the title. And the themed titles help your readers find the books in the stores!
PS if you are going to switch POV then I'd suggest you also switch the title-method as to (again) aid the readers in their sequenced reading!

A few off the top of my head:
The Blood of Souls Knight Fall - I know he's not a knight, and this one is just too cheesy, but I couldn't resist Blood Burner Eventide
I'd vote for moving away from the 1 word titles, they work for the first 3 books, but it could be a real headache for the next 3 to keep up the theme. Juni has a good point as well with the tying the next 3 books together with a title theme.

Thanks for all these great suggestions. I'm sure that I'll be sending a few of them to my editor when I send the book in next month.
