Shh... don't tell anyone I posted this, but here is the backcover copy for Pray for Dawn. Enjoy!
Pray for salvation… Pray for daylight…
Murder has pulled Mira out of the shadows and back into the living world…
As the fire-wielding enforcer of the Nightwalker Coven wrestles with the mind-destroying ghosts of her dark past, the slaying of a senator’s daughter in Savannah threatens to expose her kind to the brilliant light of day. The dawn of chaos has come. The naturi have broken free of their eternal prison to feed on the defenseless and unbelieving of an unprepared Earth.
Mira and Danaus—vampire and vampire slayer—must unite to prevent the annihilation of their separate races. But for Danaus the challenge is intensified, for he must also fight the bori who covets his soul. And Mira, the Nightwalker he must protect—whose power is the Earth’s last hope—is rapidly going insane.

Oh wow, really? That is going to be fascinating!! *hops up and down* I've been dying to get inside Danaus' head; kinda curious as to what sort of thoughts go through his mind. His mind is probably a dangerous place to be, but the psychology major in me is so curious!

*grins* only took 3 books for him to get chatty enough to tell his own story instead of having to depend on Mira. Or maybe he got tired of all the pro-vamp angles that kept popping up? wondering curious minds (me) want to know *grins*

Hey now! How did you get a hold of that? It's not supposed to be public for months. Keep it quiet please! I could get in trouble with my editor.
(But yes, the cover is awesome. )

Nope. Less than 5 minutes of digging and I found it myself. I guess there's no such thing as a secret in this business. The only frustrating thing is that I'm not allowed to post it myself.
Anyways.... I hope everyone likes the cover. And yes, what you've seen for the Wait for Dusk cover is truly the real cover. We decided to go in a slightly different direction to attract some different readers.

Oh. crap. You can put the cover back up. If the other blogs have it, I would like to have it too out of pride. I'd do it myself, but (A) I'm not allowed and (B) I'm not smart enough.

Ugh it does suck that you're not allowed to post the covers. I'm sorry they weren't supposed to be seen for a while. I thought it was official since they were on Harper's catalog. I ADORE those covers. The cover for Wait for Dusk is fantastic. I'll post it on the Wait for Dusk thread when there's one. Again, i'm sorry.

Oh, don't worry about it at all! Thanks for posting it here so I don't look so behind everyone else. I saw the cover months ago and I've been dying to share it. It's a shame that I can't be the first to show it off, but I'm more concern with whether people like it.
