carnagsehls -- I was hesitant about audiobooks at first as well, but it brings a new dimension to the story to hear a good voice actor do the reading. I've read the whole Terry Goodkind Sword of Truth series, but listened to the whole thing on audiobook and loved all over again... Just finished listening to "The Host," and was also impressed. Oh, and the benefit to an iPod and audiobooks is that it remembers your position, even if you switch to listening to music for a while and come back later.

wow ... that's pretty cool ... my cheap little Mp3 player can kinda do the same thing, but the book is the only thing on there so there is no going back and forth between the book and music. but it's still nice to be able to stop in the middle of a track because I have to go back to work or I'm done with the grocery shopping or whatever, and then be able to pick up at the same place when I start again.

Check it out.

Lately I've been stuck on December 1963 (Oh What A Night) by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons and Jungle Boogie by Kool And The Gang.
On a side note I've been cranking Lisa Lavie's Everything or Nothing album on the ipod a lot. She reminds me a lot Mariah Carey when she first came out but with some extra flavor.

well i like all forms of music depending on my mood
i shot amateur pool for a long time and any tourneys i shot in i hadda listen to drowning pool : bodies before i could bring myself into that mood
goin to the clubs it was always old school rap such as the old snoop dogg or dre smth of the sort
sitting back and relaxing drinking a few cold ones it was more classic rock hendrix or zepplin
my fav songs to put on repeat are either rollins band : liar or annihilator : liquid oval(a song ya just must check out since it's not a very well known band)
i also i have many diff genres of music and song choices depending on my mood

what are your favorite songs to listen to? I can't even begin to guss at this point. There are too many to count. It would probably have to be a NIN song, but I refuse to try to narrow it down. Burn, Gave Up, The Fragile, Terrible Lie, Only, and the list goes on.....
What's on repeat on your ipod? Nine Inch Nails , Tori Amos, the soundtrack to Wanted. I listen to Dave Navarro's Trust No One album at least once a day

I have to admit that I'm on a Lady GaGa kick as well. Loving what I've heard of Kings of Leon, but I haven't gotten around to downloading their album yet. soon probably.

Ok, latest favorite. Well, not latest considering it's been a few months since I discovered this song. There is a classical pianist who composes some amazing pieces, and he did a mix of Love Story and Viva La Vida. Check it out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0v3d6SFcDysLet me know what you think! And I get the feeling that I'm the only country music fan here. Oh well I'll just have to spread the love!!

I've also been listening to Lady Gaga which is weird because i usually have a very deep hate for hip hop, and popish music but their is just something about her music that i love. although i do wish she would where a pair of pants occasionally. lol

And I get the feeling that I'm the only country music fan here. Oh well I'll just have to spread the love!!I like the result . I'm a sucker for instrumentals! It's not that i don't like Love Story but i don't like the lyrics...hence why i think that this version better. It's beautiful. Cello can be amazing, i always enjoy some Apocalyptica. They have revisited some great songs. I even got to enjoy some classical stuff i wouldn't have listened to otherwise I think the "Hall of the Mountain King" is the craziest think it've ever seen/heard. It's beginning so softly but the end is crazy. If you watched/listened to it entirely you'll see. (Yeah i learned how to post videos today so now i'm over-using it, it'll pass me lol) And about the country music loving... i was raised by a father who loves country music. I think i overdosed when i was about 4 Right now i'm listening to NIN -Just like you imagined (talk about loved instrumental)

Definitely loving the new Marilyn Manson! I've done quite a bit of writing to it recently. Most of the book 4 edits were completed to that album.
