why yes, I am picking odd subjects for mundane things ... *grins*
so, what are your favorite songs to listen to? What's on repeat on your ipod? What's in the CD player in your car?
currently, it's Nightwish for me ... Wish Master. it's also good for listening to when I'm trying to get a lot wrote in a day.

In my car: Nine Inch Nails, but I can't remember the name of the album.
On repeat on my player: I've recently been listening to the Foo Fighter's live album: Skin and Bones. I'm addicted to the title track, Marigold, and Friend of a Friend.
I've also been listening to the Raconteurs a lot recently. Love the song "Carolina Drama" .... actually, I think I'll listen to it right now.

I saw nightwish at the HOB so it was rather small compared to when i was TSO and they had a light show and pyrotechnics and all that but they were both great!

Within Temptation - Angels, Stand my Ground, What Have you Done Now Snow Patrol - Last two albums Better Than Ezra (oldies) - Old Stuff - King of New Orleans, Deperately Wanting, Tears for Fears -Mad Mad World!! The Killers - Human; Mr. Brightside Pink - Pretty much everything....

So jealous! I'm thinking of getting tickets to see Coldplay this summer. I haven't decided yet.
Really want to see Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction in concert this summer, but they are coming no where near me. May need to take a road trip....

Love NIN, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Trapt, Placebo, The Pixies, i could go on... Listening to the new Candle Box recently - "Lover Come Back to Me" is an amazing song.
I'll never hear the end of it if you go to NIN/JA, Joce. I could probably fanagle (is that even a word?) tickets if they came anywhere near here.... why Trent why??

I'm still trying to figure out NIN/JA. Don't want to go to Bonaroo, but there's nothing close. May need to take an extended trip, though most venues are now sold out. This could be a really expensive trip.
I have to admit that I've recently become addicted to Dave Navarro's "Trust No One" album. Love the music.

got a new mp3 player and got it loaded up with nightwish, rammstien, train, pink, savage garden, goo goo dolls and other similar artists. got a second one and put an audio book on it, as that is an easier way for me to listen to it than on a cd player.

Very cool. I picked up an iPod touch recently and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it.
I never got into audio books. I guess I need the feel of the pages under my fingers.

I didn't get anything as fancy as an iPod... basically, what I got is a flash drive with a play button ... there are a few different other buttons, but that's what it boils down to.
as for the audio book, this is my first foray into them ... my friend had the book and absolutely loved it and I'd read all the other books, but I've been in a down spike in my reading lately ... I really have to make myself sit down and read for a bit, when my brain is wanting to write, but sometimes, I need some time in someone else's world. So I snagged my friend's copy of the audio book and threw it on my player. We'll see how I like it, but I may just end up deleting it and going into my store that I work at and borrowing the book and giving it another go of actually trying to read it. I'm a very tactile person as well, so I'm not sure if I'll like someone else reading to me.

I'm a huge country music fan. My favorite country artist is Taylor Swift- there's just something about how down to earth she is, and how she loves and respects her fans so much, and how her music is so relatable to almost everyone. My current 'whats in your head' song is Best Days of Your Life by Kellie Pickler (co-written by Taylor Swift )
