Sorry to hear that some of you are having trouble getting the book. It will be worth the wait though! I agree with the previous comments about how hard it is once you finish a book to have to wait for the next one, lol. Jocelynn always makes it worth it though, lol. I can't wait to see what happens next. By the way I usually "cheat" getting my books. I either download to my digital or since I have a prime account with amazon I get the book in two days. My favorite authors (like Jocelynn) I have to have the real thing, lol. My copy was scheduled to arrive on Oct.1st and when it wasn't I called screaming at amazon and they sent another overnight mail. I know it wasn't their fault but I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to books, lol. Hope everyone gets their copies soon!

Nope, they didn't have it. Next delivery is Monday, but even they're telling me not to hold my breath. However! I have come to the conclusion that it isn't my bookstore's fault. It is the guys who send the books to my bookstore! I'll find them and get my revenge... Arson, perhaps?

I don't see why you don't start taking hostages.....your demand - Dawnbreaker - No dawnbreaker? you start taking people out...one by one....

This is just ridiculous! I guess I am just spoiled by having many bookstores near me. I'm also an Amazon addict with a massive wishlist.

Maybe I'll just give in, scrounge up some extra money and get it from Amazon... But, oh, how my faith in bookstores is destroyed -sob-

That is just a sad little bookstore. I just don't understand it. How hard is it to order a book? I wonder if they are prejudice against vampires.

They've re-ordered it twice already. The last time they said they'd order it again for me, I actually stood there and refused to go until I watched them send the order request!
Prejudice against vampires indeed... they won't get the things I need, but they'll stack up a hundred copies of bloody Twilight ¬_¬ But then, I don't count them as vampire books, since vampires don't sparkle.
Well, I'm off to hound Amazon!

Okay I've been dying to ask this question. Is it alright for me to ask then what is a bori?!!!Because that will explain more about Danaus.

A bori is sort of the opposite of the naturi, Mundie. Naturi are Earth Magic and Bori are Blood(?) Magic. Like, naturi are angels, bori are demons. I think.
The bookstore must burn. Six weeks after ordering it, they finally got my copy of Dawnbreaker. But decided not to tell me until after I'd lost all hope and spent the Dawnbreaker Funds on another book. So, yes, they got it in. But they damn well knew how long I'd been waiting! Now, where's my matchbox...

Lilith, sorry to hear about the bookstore madness. That's just crazy.
Mundie: naturi are earth-bound creatures that get their power from the earth. They are where all the legends of faeries and elves come from.
The bori are soul-bound creatures that get their power from a human soul. They are where all the legends of angel and demons come from.
You will get a closer look at both naturi and bori in Pray for Dawn.

Ahh, finally got it last night ^_^ Finished it, too. Definitely worth the hell of waiting an extra six weeks, gotta say.
