So what do YOU think about the new cover? i simply love it, the colors are amazing and Mira is beautiful. And there's something really misterious about it. (i'll propably analyse it more after work , i'm already late ) So tell me what you think !! this is my favorite of the 3 books! edit: i couldn't get the cover to appear on my post grrr but here it is |

the colors are amazing and where Mira is at (at least, I'm guess that's supposed to be Mira) is just simply breath taking ... and I LOVE that they're still going with the face in the sky motif. it's very symbolic on a few different levels.

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm still trying to figure out this board and haven't learned how to post pictures yet, dang it. I have to say it took me a while to understand how to post it, it just wouldn't work!(same with profile picture)  carnagsehls i'm right with you about the face in the sky.... I really like this cover, the colors are...unusual. From all the book on the market right now , it does stand out, colorwise. The model is gorgeous really. (yes i also assumed it was Mira) You know how the saying goes...don't judge a book by its cover? Really this is a beautiful cover and i'm pretty sure if i didn't know about this book and saw it in a bookstore i'd definitely check it out. ;D |

I'm looking forward to seeing it on the shelves as well. I think this one is my favorite cover so far. I am dying to see what they come up with for Books 4 and 5. It's going to be great stuff!

I love the artwork they have come up with for the Dark Days series. I am pretty sure that the same artist has handled all three books (Don Sipley). He's just fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with for Books 4 and 5. (Shhhh.... keep it quiet, but I think we're going to try to have Danaus on the next two covers  yippee!) |

If that rendered you speechless, then I guess I should keep the other little secret to myself for a little while longer. Meanwhile, I'm not sure what the art dept has planned, but my editor and I are aiming to get Danaus on the cover. |
