Would you ever consider giving permission for the Dark Days series to be turned into a movie?

Wow! Ummm... good question....
Would I?
I'd consider it under the right circumstances and in truth I doubt it would happen because I would come with a number of demands.
I would demand to have script approval and approval of the director who would be handling it. I would love to have some minor say on the casting of the major characters.
I guess what it comes down to is the idea that if the goal is to stay true to the world that I've created, then I want to have as many rights as possible to hold them to that overwhelming task. Mira and Danaus are my babies, my beloved children, and I'm not going to hand them over to just anyone.
I would love to see them in movie form, but I'm not about to hold my breath on that one.

I would love to see them in movie form as well, however they tend to blow it when making awsome books into movies

Oded Fehr is my first choice at the moment, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I would love to see a movie but I agree, if you cant have what you want them it shouldnt be done. I like to see movies when they are true to the books otherwise dont bother. Besides movies are never as good as books. You just cant show in a movie internal things like what something feels like or smells like. You dont get to hear what goes on in the main characters heads, which if your like me is one of my favorite parts of books. I like the internal stuggles and you just cant get that from a movie.

I agree. Mira and Danaus have too much juicy internal struggle that just wouldn't come out as clearly in a movie. But then, a movie could still be fun. I'd love to see them fighting it out.

I really hope it is not made into a movie. I would ruin my imagination. I have an image of Mira in my head as being beautiful and Danaus being hot.

Feel free to dream about which actors would best be suited for roles in a movie, but I have to say that I find it highly unlikely that a movie will ever be made. Sorry.

I really hope there is not going to be a movie. No matter how true to the books they promise to stay - they never do. Anyway, if I were to have to pick a cast I would start with these. No offense to Ms. Drake or to Oded Fehr, but for the role of:
Danaus: Russell Crowe OR Hugh Jackman
Mira: Alicia Witt
