well, considering when he's supposed to be from, it makes sense ... though, you'd think he had enough common sense to upgrade his weapon.

I've been watching NCIS on Demand. Not sure if I'm going to watch the LA one this fall.
Dollhouse - some lines are funny, "my draw of inappropraite starches" but I think the last show ruffled my feathers. Liked that it was on Hulu too so I could rewatch it.
The Closer, the things she puts her man through.
Caught Being Human, seemed like a good show Drop Dead Diva - Lifetime is coming out with more than just man hater things!
I used to love Smallville and Heroes, but changed and now not liking them so much.
Eureka - techno geek in me loves all the gadgets and story is fun. Hope Carter gets with Allision. That future thing could still happen. But I want to see Joe with Douglas.
WipeOut - they edit too much though. Want to watch them go through course, not just cut to where they fall in.
Dr. Who - Going to miss David when new kid takes over. The min shows doing is driving me nuts. Still growling over the ending of Torchwood.
As the World Turns - sometimes the story lines are so out there, but it's how I pass the afternoon

So I just got season one of True Blood. I havent read the books yet and I was wondering which I should do first. Is the first season just based off of book one or the first few books? I dont have HBO so I have been waiting to get the extra to buy it. I spend too much money on books so I dont have any left for DVDs.

You should read the book FIRST! ;D The books are much much better (duh!)and complete and you wouldn't regret reading the book first i think. The first Season is based on Dead Until Dark (book 1)...(then Season 2 on book 2....).... but there are some spoilers in the TV show concerning things happening way later in the books. Hope it helped

then there's all the stuff that they've completely changed, but from what I've heard, it's for the better.

Yeah they changed quite a few thing, to give more time to secondary characters, and simplify other events. I wouldn't say it's for the best but i'm getting used to the things they changed. It doesn't chock me as much as in the beginning lol

Thanks for all the advice. I think I will read the first book and then watch the series. That is what I normally do. I dont normally watch anything until I have read it. I have just heard mixed things about True Blood show vs show. Anyway I guess I'm just going to have to wait to watch the show for a couple of weeks because I have to many other more important books to read to get to the first True Blood book.

alright this is more of an Upcoming Tv series:
I can't wait to see HBO's "Game of Thrones". It's the adaptation of the 'Songs of Ice and Fire' books by George.R.R.Martin I loved the books so much i'm curious as to what it will look like on TV.
Of course it's always a bit disappointing but one can dream. The cast for the pilot is amazing. ;D It won't air for at least a year but i'm still really excited about it lol

I had heard of the Martin TV series and it sounds great. I own a number of his books, but haven't had the chance to read them. They are a bit daunting when I have so little time.
Right now, the shows I am addicted to: Mythbusters Ghost Hunters Top Gear
I can't believe I am in love with Top Gear. It's a British car show. I'm not a gear head by any stretch of the imagination, but I love this show. The hosts are hilarious and they do all these insane challenges.
I don't have it on my local cable, but I watch it whenever I can on YouTube.
I'm a sad little writer.
