This is totally going to be the summer for movies. They are going to be my reward for getting stuff done. So, what movies are you dying to see this summer?
My list so far (in no particular order)
1. Transformers -- loved the first one, can't wait for the next one
2. G.I. Joe -- yes, I'm a dork. I grew up watching the cartoons. The movie is going to be filled with fighting and explosions. If it has a little plot to it, call it a blessing. I'm just going to see the big booms.
3. Harry Potter 6 -- Dude, if I see one more trailer I'm going to explode with excitment. I am DYING for the next one and I know that I'm going to be sobbing like a baby at the end.
4. Star Trek -- never watched the original series, just Next Generation, but as I said before, I'm a dork
5. Public Enemies -- It's Johnny Depp. Enough said.
Anything else I'm forgetting?

not sold on your number 2, but I do want to add Ghosts of Girlfriends Past ... looks absolutely adorable and chickflicky, but I still want to see it. totally agree with the rest of your list there, though. totally stoked for all of those.

Hmm, I'll steal some of yours and add a few of mine.
1. Star Trek (my husband won't shut up about it!) 2. Transformers (omg - LOVED the first one) 3. Terminator Salvation (praying to god it's better than the 3rd one and dude..CHRISTIAN BALE) 4. x-MEN (well, I watched the other movies...why the heck not!) 5. Land of the Lost - (Because didn't everyone watch it as a kid?) 6. The Proposal - obligatory chick flick
Anything sci-fi!! (except Harry Potter) Star Trek will be seen after it's opened because we don't like crowds. I've watched all the star trek tv shows except DS9, so, I think I qualify as a trekkie? hmm, anyway, i'm seeing it for Zachary Quinto - yummo!

I want to see 1. HARRY POTTER 6!!!! - I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I haven't decided who I'm going as yet. If I go as Draco i have to bleach my dark brown hair and act like a man, but he is really cool. If not him I'm going as Tonks!! 2. Public Enemies - Im from WI but i had to work well the wonderful Johnny Depp was here. It's depressing that i missed him. 3. Transformers - none of my friends will go with me. 4. Star Trek - none of my friends will go with me. 5. X-Men - none of my friends will go with me. After reviewing my list i think i need new friends. lol

I'm waiting for Harry Potter 6!! I'm all excited too and everytime i see a trailer i'm captivated. I'm excited even though i already know i'm gonna spend months blaming the movie for NOT being as good as the book. (never happy huh!=
And maybe Ice Age 3 because the trailer made me laugh (and my friend wants to see it badly like a 5 years old he's NOT)
I don't really know what else is to be released soon.

DYING to see Harry Potter 6. I can't watch the trailers any longer. They are driving me crazy with anticipation.
Ice Age 3 looks cool. I really liked the other two so I definitely want to see this one, but I doubt I'll catch it in the theater.

Almost went to see Transformers this weekend, but couldn't make it. I'm hearing bad reviews, but that's not going to stop me. All the action and explosions just look so damn cool.
Yeah, I have a serious weakness for action movies.

Just got home from watching Transformers. It was really good. In my opinion it was much better than the first one. There was a lot more action, explosions, transforming, you name it. Its one of those movies that I will buy when it comes out.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. No question about it, that is my NUMBER ONE movie to see this summer. I'm going to see a midnight release too!
It's sort of required for me to put HBP at the top of my list considering my level of obsession lol.

I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince today and i loved it! Really this is the first HP movie i'm not already criticizing. I didn't even complain about the terrible French dubbing...alright maybe i just did but that doesn't count.
It's really really good. Of course nothing could make it a pure and perfect rendition of the book BUT it's very good for a movie.
I can't wait to see it again (yes i'm like a 12years old when it's Harry Potter related!)
I also went to see Iced Age 3, i didn't really like the 2nd and i was worried about this one. But i ended up laughing my ass off the whole time. My friend and i laughed more than the children there.
Next movie i'm waiting for is "UP" , already released in the US but not yet in France. =)

agreed harry potter was great, but i have to say was kinda disappointed at how far it strayed from the books at parts and was a lil slow paced.
the thing is though if you read the books you already knew it was gonna be a lil slower than the others, but it was deff worth goin to see on grand opening night....was totally chaotic
btw transformers imo was as good if not better than the first....alot more comedy stuck in this one and the action scenes were all over the place
my next i want to see is the you were warned 2012 that had the trailer in the harry potter movie....looks awesome

Saw Harry Potter recently and I enjoyed it. Was a little disappointed that it strayed from the book more than the others. I'm dreading the fact that the final book is broken into two movies. The waiting may kill me.
Loved Transformers 2, even though the director needs a map. The pyramids of Giza are not in Jordan. And in sections, it looks like they're running through Karnac which is further up the Nile. sigh. Loved the action!
Next up is G.I. Joe. I grew up watching the cartoon and I think it is going to be a great explosion movie. Love action movies!!

Can you believe that G Force beat out Harry Potter? I never saw that coming.
Watched Ice Age 3 in 3-D. Really good. My six year old niece laughed thru the whole movie.
