Yep, I'll admit it. I went and saw a chick flick with my mom this past weekend: "He's Just Not That Into You". I know the reviews weren't all that great, but I enjoyed it. There were too many funny moments that rang far too true to life and dating.
The character played by Justin Long (the guy from the MAC/PC commericials) was great. The real voice of reason in the movie. Besides, I think he's cute. I may be developing a crush. Someone help me.

Oh man I loved Alex in that movie, he was so funny! My friend and I went and saw it together. We are both single so we thought it was a little depressing but good. lol

Yes, just a little on the depressing side.
Is it sad that I'm thinking of watching Live Free and Die Hard tonight so I can see Justin Long? He's goofy, but approachable.
Bad author... bad author.. (smacks hand) Must work on Book 4!

Soo sad. Didn't get much writing done last night. I blame my brother. We stayed up and watched Mythbusters episodes and Batman cartoons. Yep, my life is really exciting.

*laughs* about as exciting as mine ... watched insomnia with the roomies while I tried to write and not fall asleep. I think I managed to squeeze out 250 words.

Random girl moment: This movie comes out on DVD on Tuesday! I am so going to go buy it after work on Tuesday. I've been dying to watch it again.
There have been some moments recently in life that have mimicked the movie too closely. I want to watch it again to see if I really am acting like an idiot.... yeah, don't ask.

Bought the DVD. Still love the movie. Funny and depressing at the same time. Realized that I have far too much in common with the women in that movie. So sad.

well, it was based on a non-fiction, self-help for relationships kind of book, so I'm actually glad that it hit so many of my 'true' buttons ... and there were so many great actors and actresses in it ... loved it.

Yeah, but it's kind of depressing that so much of it is true.

Wow - I need to go watch it. I've been married for 12 years - so I would not be able to relate (dating? what's that?) but i do enjoy a good chick flick. I just need a chick/friend to watch it with...don't think it would be the same with the hubby? lmao

The movie takes you back to all the insane things you thought and wondered when you were in the dating phase. There's even some darkness for married people. It's a good chick flick.

My husband wouldnt watch it with me, but we did buy it and while I am normally not crazy about chick flicks I thought it was just the right amount of truth and humor. I liked it and would recomend it to any woman having man trouble.
